After what must be the longest Winter on record (or at least it feels that way), we are finally emerging from Lockdown, ready to ditch those joggers and embrace a more sociable Spring/Summer - HURRAH!
As we gradually and safely begin to see more of our friends and family, it's been nice having opportunities to dress up a bit more. Even if that means a nice tee and jeans! The hope of staycations, pub gardens and perhaps even travel has us in the mood for some new season wardrobe additions.
The Spring 21 catwalk showcased stylish updates to retro trends such as tie-dye, cut outs and fabulously feminine floaty dresses. The Eighty Seven Spring 2021 collection has been curated from designers across the globe (old and new). We've handpicked pieces that embrace new trends, whilst keeping that wearable, timeless, Eighty Seven flavour you've become accustomed to.
Whether you're looking for some new Spring pieces to update your wardrobe or perhaps some inspiration on how to update your exiting favourites, here are some of our favourite fashion trends for Spring 2021.
Pastel shades in fine knits are perfect for injecting some colour into your everyday looks over Spring, whilst keeping things comfortable. The beautiful blue, aqua and green shades shown below would also look wonderful on cooler summer days/evenings worn over a dress or skirt.
If you like your style to speak, statement slogan tops or artwork prints are a great way to add some character to a look. Our t-shirts below are channelling positive 'love' vibes, whilst our Spirit Café hoodie would look very much at home in the South of France (we can wish can't we?)!
Spring Layers + Outerwear
There's a reason the classics don't go out of style... A great quality blazer and beige parka will be your best friends over our changeable British Summer. Easy to throw over any outfit, whilst still looking très chic!
If you're worried about pulling off bright colour clashes, fear not, this season's come-back trend is very wearable when designed with muted pastel shades or a monochrome palette. We think these beautiful sweaters and tees are tie-dye for (sorry, just couldn't resist)!
I did mention a long winter right? For me at least, that meant rather a lot of over-indulging on food and drink. This is just one of the reasons I'm thankful for the floaty trend emerging. A floaty dress is your best friend when you want to feel fabulous in a dress without comprising on comfort. We love functional styles like the wrap dress below that can be styled down at the weekend or dressed up for a wedding with a pair of heels.
You just can't beat Woden's for style and comfort. The Scandinavian Sneaker designer is on point with their latest retro styles.
I hope you enjoyed a run-down of our favourite wearable Spring trends for 2021. As always, you can shop these looks right here online or if you're local, we are super excited to soon be able to welcome you back instore from Tuesday 13th April 2021. Until next time... x
